This[1] BBC News article mentions that it is running a version of
Linux, which doesn't necessarily mean it is "Goobuntu".

What's strange though is that the said article is dated sometime in
2004, but the Google history page mentions[1] that the yellow box
thing was released in 2002.  Following the history page and OS
changes, however, would mean that it was released before Ubuntu was
=).

Of course, asking Google is still the best way to get by this =D.
