Ladies and gentlemen, thank you for your rather enlightening views about
our government. Though, funny. I could have sworn that I had joined
the Philippine Linux Users Group and not the Philippine Political
Science Enthusiasts Group.
Listen, there is ABSOLUTELY NO POINT to trying to convince one or the
other how hopeless our leaders are or how there might still be hope
about the government. There will be optimistic and pessimistic members
in this list.
To those who still believe you can still change the minds of certain
government leaders about FOSS and its advantages, go ahead! Forge on!
Keep us posted about your developments! For those of you here who
believe in a fellow member's goal in pushing the FOSS movement in
his/her baranggay/local government, DO help out!
To those who believe that such a goal is a waste of time, STOP. You
have better things to do, right? Like pushing FOSS to the private
sector. Which isn't so bad as well. But please. STOP. Stop voicing
out how fucked up our government sector is. Stop telling us about the
political bastards, the corruption, the greed. I get a lot of that from
the jeepney drivers.
I am on this list to learn about Linux. To know how I can push this
operating system to other people. To see the advantages and problems of
this system from other members of this list. Is this too much to ask?
