just a reminder... most small public schools can't afford network
management staff. much of the budget has been taken away by this
government. :) peace! :-)
can we check which institutions who may have working old PCs which set
to be "condemned"? we can give info to those small schools to ask those
institutions instead of buying.
i think UP has some, if not many. some units are condemning first
generation pentiums to pentium II computers. many will be able to make
good use of them with lightweight linux distros such as DSL.
