Tell us if formatting /dev/sd? works.  I'm curious too.  The USB case must have a chip providing SCSI emulation and I'm not sure it would provide functions for formatting/partitioning.

BTW, what do you mean by 'linux specifications'?  Since it's a portable drive dont you wanna use it on your friends' WindoZe PC's (to show them your pr0n and mp3 collection I presume).

I've already done this with the other drives but I want the entire drive to be formatted in Linux specifications. I think fdisk /dev/sda ang pinakamalapit na reply. Anyways, salamat sa lahat na nag reply.
