it's even simpler than php redirection.

in the document root for www.mydomain.com, an index.html file with the code

< meta http-equiv=refresh content="0; URL=http://mydomain.com">

would do the trick.


note: the html < should actually be the less-than character and the
> should be the greater-than character since this is html code
