Well, when i first became aware of this meridian wifi service, they were already using meridian-licensed frequencies. not ISM. although i've heard that in some provinces (like davao..) they really used ISM 802.11b/g equipment.

it's very probable there's a correlation because many of the sucky service complaints seem to be coming from outside Manila.
