i think this is a gentoo based distro, gentoo's are quite fast, they are nearly a slackware, due to the large amount of time compiling everything (depends on what build your gonna do) used gentoo for a few months and switch debian.. now trying out ubuntu..
i wanna have it a go.. i just got hold of some ubuntu cd's wanna try this one also...

Because of the hype about the XGL in Linux, I decided to try out

Without having to try out the XGL features and power, I was stunned by the
speed and responsiveness of the system. I didn't expect a Live CD to
be this fast.
It is even faster than my installed linux distribution.
1. The boot-up process is blazing fast (using Gnome 2.12)
2. All the needed free but proprietary software/drivers are included
(nvidia, etc.)
3. I fired up firefox and the internet connection is already set up
4. Lots of goodies are included except OpenOffice.org
I know it's just intended to showcase the XGL. :-)
Now on to the UI.
IT IS FUN!
1. Your window becomes wobbly when you try to move them;
2. Switching to another desktop rotates a cube.
Try it out and have some fun!
I am going to bring this Live CD with me to show to friends ...
