Is there a way to monitor postgreSQL resource usage via graph say MRTG?

Can't say for sure, but since MRTG is for SNMP (which in turn is normally associated with network device statistics)...I'm doubtful it can be.

yes it can be.... you need a flexible and extensible snmp like net-snmp (http://net-snmp.sourceforge.net/) ... just fetch any stats you want from your intended source and feed it to net-snmp so that mrtg will graph it for you...

fooler.
