Setting it up is pretty straightforward.  But linux is
not an officially supported by Sierra Wireless, but
they did provide the drivers from their site including
instructions on how to install it.

We're using it currently to connect a remotely located
office to our network for email access.  The GSM
signal in the area is not strong, but strong enough to
establish a connection.  The link is fairly stable,
but we left instructions to hit ctrl-alt-del whenever
the link is dropped for a prolonged period.
