Microsoft assures you that Windows XP Home will work correctly for the first 90 days. They do not assure you that Windows XP Home or any "service packs" or "hot fixes" will work correctly after this time.
Its like saying it will self-destruct after 90 days ^_^
Anyway i tried to install WinXP Home before but it broke after just 2 hours, something to do with DirectX sound and incorrect sound card driver which WinXP detected for my hardware. So i installed WinXP pro instead which broke after 4 months. At least the pro edition complies with EULA :))
