This i dont get, he wants the HTTP request goes thru eth0 and the reply goes thru eth1? 

Cant that even be done, isnt it that you need to reply to the originating request so the browser can fetch it properly? I think i didnt totally understand what he needed to do.

policy based routing or advance routing plus NAT will solve your problem...
you can route any packet based on the header criteria (eg. source/destinatip
ip, tcp/udp port, icmp type, TOS, etc) thru policy based routing... NAT will
ensure you that your outgoing packet is the incoming packet of that
interface...
