Just a couple more questions:
1. If I plug in a PCI NIC, I'd have to disable the on-board network
interface on my BIOS, right?
not necessarily for they can co-exist. but if you dont plan to use it
anyway, disable it instead to avoid confusion.
2. Has anybody had any success using the CNet PRO200 Ethernet Card with
Linux?
yup, i remember using the same card on a Mandrake workstation.
but i cant remember if it was supported OOTB or if i compiled the
driver.
