Yeah, I can believe you.  I read somewhere openbsd's stdlib free
actually frees up the memory unlike in Linux where you free it but it
sticks around hehe

How goes firefox? fast?

Not in my OpenBSD. I run a full-blown KDE desktop on a P3, 128 MB RAM with
lots of apps open without crawling... But this is OT anyway.
