(I am sending this to the main list and the misc list, as I am not so sure if everyone concerned will be able to read this.)
There is a lot of mail already regarding list orientation, dealing with questions, etc.
Time and again, these discussions have already come up on this list and I hope that for this time we'd be able to move on to other discussions. We all have different perspectives on open source, the different Linux distros, how to deal with questions, etc. I have noticed that some of the emails sound a bit too strong already (or maybe it's just me, interpreting the tone of the writers of the emails) and yet we just seem to keep on reacting anyhow.
There are ways to discuss different opinions with other people and in case there are some things that you would discuss at length with specific people on the list, it is an option that might be considered :)
PS: And maybe no more alternicks as well? :)
