Hello,
I'd just like to ask if anybody here has tried out Virtual hosting with
virtual private servers (VPS) as opposed to dedicated hosting. While I
do maintenance with dedicated hosting, I haven't personally managed a
VPS yet. I'd also like to confirm from those who tried it if it is
indeed like having a dedicated server (and thus being able to configure
and have access to the whole operating system unlike shared hosting)
performance-wise.
Despite their popularity, I guess I'm still not used to the concept of
using deploying important business applications in virtual machines from
Xen,vmware,etc.
Any additional insights would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
