If you want multiple sockets, you need an Opteron, not an Athlon64. Ask Paolo F about server mobos. As for consumer mobos... I've been looking, but it seems up to now that AMD64 consumer motherboards use incompatible SATA2+NCQ chips (e.g. the NForce series). I'm not sure if I'll use these, but I feel it's a waste to buy a SATA2 drive on a SATA1 controller.
