[plug] setting up ip in ethx permanently

guys i have this problem, whenever i try to restart the network i also lost the eth0 ip and the default gw config whenever i try to view it via netstat -rn command, though i already encoded it in /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0. what solutions is recommended to prevent this? :)

any help will be appreciated.
