You have two choices
1. Configure the transparent proxy box as gateway for workstations then do IPtables from there
2. Tell your current gateway/firewall to forward requests bound for port 80 (and etc) to your transparent proxy box

Hi Guys,We are trying to do transparent proxy using 1 NIC card (2x Xeon using RH4 Enterprise) .. The server also is not directly connected to the Internet but to another proxy (Trend IWSS).The other servers can connect to the server if configured as a normal proxy.. But does not work if we configure IPtables and squid for transparent proxy.. A firewall (separate checkpoint acts as router to route to external proxy). Need help.Cheers,James
