how about considering a more linux-friendly Wi-Fi router like WRT54G.. i have one running OpenWRT and it works flawlessly.. well, I also had the same experience before when I "bricked" a Motorola embedded board just to install Linux. Indeed, a cool $$$ worth of lesson.. :)

I already sent it back to our vendor "for reflashing" as Ariz has suggested. If they won't, then might as well buy a new one. [only, the tab is on me]. That's a cool P3,900 worth of lesson on WiFi. :)
