Seriously, even products from companies like IBM, Novell and Redhat have
problems that require support.


Thats their weak point then. I just don't buy this support will always
be needed stuff. when there are confusing choices then you need
support. when you need error messages then you need support. If you
design away the need for error messages then you design away the need
for support. I got that from one of the papers from apple by the way.

The problem is there are platform issues that they just cant worked
around. Their revenue depends on it.

things i hate about my linux pc:

1. it takes more than a second to boot up
2. keeps asking about filenames and directories
3. does not remember what i was working on yesterday
4. does not remember all the changes i have ever made
5.cannot figure out necessary settings by itself
