Hello Guys,

I have this problem here that am lost as to what I am going to do next.

I have a Lotus 6.5.4 on SUSE Linux 9 kernel 2.6 (stack kernel)
2GB Physical Memory 3.5GB swap Pentium 4, 2.79GHz

The error msg in my lotus monitor is:

Admin Process: Searching Administration Requests database
29.06.2006 12:35:04 PM  Full Text message: Memory allocation error. errcode = 3301
29.06.2006 12:35:04 PM  GTR search error for "/local/notesdata/nucdircat.ft/ftgi": Memory allocation error. errcode = 3301: Not enough memory for Full Text Indexing or Search

For the purpose of archive reference of other user, I'll answer my own question.

According to IBM Lotus itself located in this site:

http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?&uid=swg21192791

Nga pala, thanks to  Re Tapang for this ibm link. kudos to you  pre.

I will do the server setup in two weeks and I will update this tread after that.

Finally got the server working in HP DL380 with 4GB of Memory. All LDAP (HP Digital Senders) queries are fast and the server is not crashing anymore.

The final setting are:

SuSe Linux 10
Lotus for Linux Domino Server 6.5.4
Lotus startup script by http://www.nashcom.de version V1.2 15.10.2005

Memory: 4GBytes
Processor: Intel Xeon X 2 Dual Core

So the site is true. There is no amount of tweaking in Linux that can be done except to have a 4GB of memory.

I just answered this for anybody's future reference.
