A Mac Hypervisor?
This is Saturday, two days before the opening of Apple's 2006 WWDC. Speculation has been rampant for months as to what sorts of new things Apple may be announcing there. Most of the guesses have posited things like Mac cellphones, super iPods and the like, but Tom Yager may have drawn a bead on something that's really much more interesting
Tom actually first mentioned this back in May: OS X Leopard: Hello, hypervisor, but now he seems to be pretty certain: VMware for Mac to debut August 7.

experience with other developers who need to test software against OSX,
Linux and Windows.
The MBP runs on an intel core duo chip and with the release of Apple's
bootcamp, installing other operating systems that are BIOS dependent is
very easy. All you need to do is update OSX software,
download/install/run bootcamp and boot either a Windows or Linux CD. I
am now running OSX, Ubuntu and Windows XP natively on the machine.
Also, I can run other versions of linux or windows through any of the
operating systems (MAC parallels or VMWARE) if needed.
All three operating systems run extremely fast and the hardware is
typical of Apple, well built and sturdy. Considering the price I
normally pay for high-end laptops, I think the MBP is reasonably
priced. There are a few quirks though before you plow 2K USD on a MBP:
Windows:
The built in camera does not work. (external USB camera's work)
Need to download free software called Input Remap to get the page down
and page up keys to work.
Linux:
The built in camera does not work. (external USB camera's work)
Aside from that, its a developers' dream machine. All platforms in one!
