Subject: Re: [plug] Microsoft Office for Linux?
thats the design i am researching now and a lot of
people are saying that its a viable alternative to the mac wimp ui.
when artificial intelligence and speech recognition took placed... who needs
a visual user interface anyway? :->
i use a computer everyday and the wimp interface is getting in my way.
i use ion now and its a lot better. now my windows xp using friends
are reinstalling their systems because suddenly their systems are
slowing own to a crawl every couple hours. even in a dual core system.
high tech right?
i dont see any relationship between crawlness of xp to your wimp interface
:-> crawlness in xp affects many factors... such as viruses, spyware, etc..
wimp interface is an event driven technology... the event reaching to an
object becomes slower if there are lots of objects chaining on that
event.....
fooler.
