Guys and Gals, do you know if Linux takes advantage of dual core processors? I';ve seen SNMP versions of linux before, but these are physically separate chips. Does Linux use the same technology / process to make use of dual core one one chip?
Does the kernel actually parallel process on two chips or does it only assign a cpu to one task and another cpu to another task? -- Regards, Danny Ching _________________________________________________ Philippine Linux Users' Group (PLUG) Mailing List [email protected] (#PLUG @ irc.free.net.ph) Read the Guidelines: http://linux.org.ph/lists Searchable Archives: http://archives.free.net.ph
