Guys and Gals, do you know if Linux takes advantage of dual core
processors? I';ve seen SNMP versions of linux before, but these are
physically separate chips. Does Linux use the same technology /
process to make use of dual core one one chip?

Does the kernel actually parallel process on two chips or does it only
assign a cpu to one task and another cpu to another task?
