i have a question to ask, let's say that this bill gets passed into law, how sure are we that it is going to be implemented to the fullest? we are a country with too many laws but the problem lies in the one enforcing it.
What most people in the USA would do is sue the gov't so that they will comply. Then that would mean that 2 out of three branches in gov't will be on the same side. Incidentally, I encountered problems on the government's E-census site because it requires only internet explorer or netscape navigator. How would a poor Linux user like me cope? Isn't this discrimination? Should I buy an P8,000 windows license just to access their site? Just an example of how using proprietary software is not fair to everyone. I guess I'll just have to deal with the red tape and do it in the real world. Sayang, very convenient sana. -- Regards, Danny Ching _________________________________________________ Philippine Linux Users' Group (PLUG) Mailing List [email protected] (#PLUG @ irc.free.net.ph) Read the Guidelines: http://linux.org.ph/lists Searchable Archives: http://archives.free.net.ph
