well that entails training cost. and this is where the devil lies.

This is true, however, I believe this is only true at the beginning.  The high initial cost should pay for itself in the future.  But I must admit that this makes it difficult for companies to make the switch.  They are not willing to invest in it simply because they have long believed that operating systems and software are free to pirate.  It would be difficult to convince people to correct this belief and I have since stopped trying.   It is better to help companies who have matured and are themselves sold on the idea of a FOSS environment.
