Subject: Re: [plug] invisible files

i am also confused how the file was deleted in my situation.. i am not
the one who deleted it. but i am the one who maintain the server.

since path /tmp is read, write and executable by any users.... anyone can delete your log file on that path...

if you suspected a certain user deleted your log file.. try to grep their history file if indeed they deleted it... otherwise other program is trying to clean your /tmp path...

to avoid accidentally or intentionally deleting your log file.... try to redirect your log file to other path where the process owner have the permission to write in it....

fooler.
