i have a firewall running on open source fedora,
my set up is this
public ip-------<firewall/router nat> ---- private/dmz ip
10.0.0.1 for the firewall/nat ip
10.0.0.2 for dmz mail server
10.0.0.3 for dmz web server
10.0.0.4 for dns
192.168.0.0 for client pc
let say my public ip is this for
202.x.x.25 firewall/router nat ip
202.x.x.26 for web
202.x.x.27 for mail
202.x.x.28 for dns
previously my present setup run smoothly untill i notice that when i'm sending mail like yahoo or hotmail details reveals the ip of firewall/router nat not the mail server ip in the full details of the mail. but mail outgoing to net is functioning until recently the ip of the firewall was block eg. cbl saying that spam was originated at the firewall ip.
how would i correct this so that ip of firewall will not tag again in cbl or other site.
when outgoing mail it should be the mailserver ip or the firewall ip could be seen in the details of mail
thanks....
