I'll bite on the conspiracy angle...

It's a way of squeezing out RedHat. When Oracle announced few days ago
that it will sell maintenance services for RedHat, it's RedHat shares
of stocks went down 24%. Now this from Microsoft partnership with
Novell where it would promote Suse Linux.

My take, Redhat is being pummeled left and right. When the possibility
after a few months/years that it's down and out, it's ripe for the
taking by Oracle or others Like IBM, etc. A conspiracy to possibly
take down Redhat.

For Microsoft, is not dumb. take that in mind. they have seen Linux as
a growing threat for years. Now, it is a real competitor on the
Enterprise Market and they are feeling the heat. Anything to take down
RedHat is good for them.

And I believe it. Just to give my own perspective. 5 years ago, if you
would say Linux for the Enterprise, sure, but skepticism arises. Now,
Have been consulting for a large Telecoms/Wireless and a Bank. Guess
what they are using for future projects. And I tell you, it's a very
high visibility and big project at that. Go Linux!

Again, it's just my take. In other words, rumors. :)
