Using jrocket on Redhat 4 too. My experience was different, and it was stable and fast.

We had a lot of stability headaches on using JRockit running on HP-UX and Linux (Red Hat). Using the Sun JDK/JRE proved to be a lot more stable, although not-so-significantly slower than JRockit.
