Hi all: The nomination for the upcoming PLUG Board of Directors for the Fiscal Year 2006 - 2007 is now declared open. Said nominations shall be done in the mailing lists (as the wiki facility in linux.org.ph isn't anymore available) until the first week of December 2006. More on the mechanics once a committee has been formed.
Elections shall be done on 9 December 2006. A board composed of eleven people will be selected to steer PLUG projects and activities for the next year. Nominations are open to all volunteers who are willing to commit time and effort to govern the organization and further its aims to promote Free and Open Source Software. We are also looking for volunteers to run the election committee and assist in administering the list of nominees as well as the conduct of elections.
