might be just another dhcp server again. (hope ur the only "admin" in
the network.) someone might have plugged in a "router".

not support vlan. i have this setup where a thin-client and a fat
-client are connected to the same switch at the same time. i cannot do
something like, all ts terminal use these and only these switches. i
cannot segregate users, as they spread all over the plant.
what im looking at is, on the same (physical) network, create a separate
network for the thin client devices. where the network traffic is
practically silent, regulated. the devices would still be connecting to
a windows ts server. but they pass through something like a (software)
router.

i am not a network guy, im not sure if this is valid, or will work.
