Yes, I expect the FOSS bill to be watered down too, asI said in my little
speech at the last Software Freedom Day. The strategu, I think is sound:
come up with a strong position, and then work out a good compromise.
That's what Dean and I did in our little online exercise here. We both
had strong opposing positions at the start, but I think it all turned out
pretty well. We ended up with something we both could live with happily.
