Hi,

I just want to know if any of you already implemented Linux as your

(K)Ubuntu seems to be very good...

2. Also what is the brand of the webcam?

... or maybe I'm just lucky that my webcam is well-supported. I have a
"Labtec webcam pro USB PC Camera". /usr/bin/lsusb gives:

Bus 002 Device 003: ID 046d:08a2 Logitech, Inc. Labtec WebCam Pro

It also has a built-in microphone. I have good video quality using GyachE
Improved v.1.0.5 as a Yahoo messenger client. But GyachE Improved doesn't
seem to have voice chat support (am I right?! coz it won't work with my
Kubuntu edgy). So, to have audio support, I'm using Skype. It took some
time for my wife, however, to convince our local internet cafe to install
Skype. But now, we can both use Skype + GyachE/YM so I'm happy with it.

Anyway, I hope anyone here could tell me if it's possible to have voice chat
on GyachE.

Ciao,
Allister
