Hi Doc Mana!

I don't think gcc 4.1.2 is something to be excited about: it's slow,
it produces slow code by default, and the optimization implementations
(-Ox) are iffy at best.

/me has nothing to say about posting NetBSD endorsements in the PLUG
ML, after all it's Doc Mana's call...

If you are looking for something closer to the REAL UNIX than Linux, then
you can go no nearer than NetBSD. If you are looking for sysvinit, you will
be disappointed, since NetBSD uses BSD init.

Some people will say that the upcoming (or already available)
GNU/OpenSolaris system is *a* real UNIX.

I Am Not A UNIX expert, but some users of GNU/OpenSolars are pretty
psyched with Nexenta. You might also want to try that too doc. :)
