Ofcourse they have to know also, not that you have to hide that fact. Youre right, its very hard to do and for sanity's sake it does eat up a lot of your social time so I wont probably do this anymore when i hit age 30's :) If youre young and talented i recommend giving it a try but watch your health carefully; get to know lots of people on high positions and get involve on as many projects (full time or part time) as posible to buff your portfolio. My only regret is that i havent started doing this early on in my career while im still young :)
