the server hosting this email account uses the roundcube interface.
navigation-wise it is simple but my peeves about it are:

  - i still havent figured out a way to save a draft copy of the mail i am
composing. composing mail is an all-or-nothing affair.

  - authentication is all done via the URL string. if you suddenly lose that
window then you have to login again.

-> as an addendum, it keeps on hitting the mail sever for inbox updates
(regardless of which window is currently open). if you have a flaky connection
then you will encounter situations wherein you will have to click a lot of
connection error messages (this is in firefox) just to return to the interface.
sometimes it is better to just close firefox altogether and re-login.

ciao!
