How about the compatibility with PLDT DSL connection. Any problem with these distributions (Ubuntu,Gentoo,Fedora)?
Really, the best way to hook into a DSL link is via a hub/switch. That allows you do share the DSL connection with other machines. Having said that, and if you want to plug the machine directly to the DSL modem, then all the distributions above will work. Use the pppoe that comes with them.
