even if you have Sun Java installed, GCJ has a /usr/bin/java

get rid of GCJ and all should be fine.

not exactly since the Sun Java RPM does not install in /usr/bin either

option 1:
export PATH=$JAVA_HOME/bin:$PATH

option 2:
use the "alternatives" system to add the Sun Java binary.
