not exactly since the Sun Java RPM does not install in /usr/bin either

option 1:
export PATH=$JAVA_HOME/bin:$PATH

option 2:
use the "alternatives" system to add the Sun Java binary.



Migs helped me out with above. Azureus now downloading as we speak.

any recommendations for a command line bittorrent client i can access
remotely?
