Correcting myself: xlibs was a metapackage generated from the
XFree86 sources, which depends on the actual X library packages.
Since the upcoming Etch will be releasing with the X Window System
from X.Org, the xlibs metapackage has been replaced with the
libx11-6 package, which, although by itself pulls fewer packages
than the old xlibs, still provides the same functionality.
