If you try setting up a `direct' connection of your work machine to the Canopy SM (without any middleman routers,) determine your IP address using www.whatismyisp.net and portscanning yourself, you should be able to see you own open and closed ports for your machine, as you would expect a decent connection to give you. > How do I configure LinkSys so that my desktop or laptop is also >reachable from outside? IIRC the WRT54G has support for UPnP configuration from client devices, right?
