i was browsing an EclipseCon presentation[1] discussing
the business case of OEL when i noticed the ff line on
page 9 (out of 48):

"...Blogosphere figured out instantly that they are using
CentOS...."

then after searching for a related link, i found an old
article[2] quoting one of the CEntOS community member:

"...There is evidence that in places Oracle is a rebuild of
CentOS, rather than of Red Hat--again as they are entitled
[to] under the GPL. [But] it would be polite for Oracle to
acknowledge the fact that they are derived from CentOS
and make a donation to the project....."

* I'm not affiliated with any of these PNAELVs (Prominent
North American Enterprise Linux Vendors) :)
