I experience the same with HSBC. 
I haven't used UserAgentSwitcher extension though.

For Bills Payment Bancnetonline works on Linux & Firefox.

HSBC will work with Firefox if you're on Windows or a Mac. But Firefox
on Linux, you need to use the UserAgentSwitcher extension so that the
Javascript object navigator.platform should return a string that has a
sub-string "win" or "mac".

As for Metrobank... well, that one uses ActiveX.
