It is an FXS port. You could actually connect it to a PBX because a
PBX has both FXS and FXO ports. However, you can not dial out (to a
PSTN) as most PBXs do not allow their FXOs to use other FXO lines
because it does not make sense.

he needs a router anyways..(to connect the leased lines..) might as well
buy one with upgrade slots. A 1700 series maybe? and a vic2-4fxo for the
remote site.
