Session-saving meaning save cursor position, that sort of stuff? I think so...

NEdit is fine but not great. Its major claims to fame are Motif
widgets, CUA interface (Ctrl-C to copy, Ctrl-X to cut...) block
indent/un-indent, syntax highlighting. Ten years ago when I was
starting out, NEdit was great! and it looked the same on Sun, Silicon
Graphics, Linux...

But this is 2007, not 1997. NEdit has no anti-aliased fonts. It is
light weight for a GUI editor, I'll give it that... but for some
strange reason I can't get it running on FC6 nicely. Crashes a lot. So
I end up using Nano or GEdit. I hate GEdit's auto-backup though.

When will an editor have auto-save in a hidden directory? not just one
backup but an entire bit trail? I didn't care about NEdit's lack of
backups because I was using SVN. But now.. the only programs I write
are 20-liners. OK maybe 200-liners. Nano is enough for these..

I was checking out NEdit, does it have session saving capabilities
like Vim? Might switch as well. :D
