You may want to consider using Debian Etch, instead. Etch comes with a
newer Linux kernel and should have better support for the IBM xSeries
206m than Sarge.

Alternatively, you could get one of the freely-available custom-built
Sarge installer CDs with newer kernels with support for additional SCSI
controllers.
