Perhaps going the terminal way would determine whether it's nautilus or any of the terminal packages that are problematic.

I am using nautilus-cd-burner-2.16.3-1.fc6, and this problem keeps recurring. To burn anything, I have to reboot to Debian Lenny and use Lenny to burn files from the FC6 Zod partition. My real worry is that no one seems to be working on this problem in the Fedora/RedHat organization: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=226184 ***P~Manalastas Pablo Manalastas <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: Using the Nautilus file manager, I start a CD/DVD writing session. I copy and paste the files/directories that I want to the burner session. When I click on the [write] button, the session hangs even before it has prepared the image file to write. I do not know if the bug is in Nautilus, mkisofs, or cdrecord. This problem exists only in my FC6 system. On Debian Lenny (on the same machine), I do not have the problem. Any clue? P~Manalastas
