My wife bought a laptop bag that is relatively well-padded yet not outrageously expensive (you should check out the 10K laptop bags in the Samsonite store...)
I sadly am still using this ancient beater laptop bag that's probably 5 years old. I look like a messenger hahaha! But it is a valid point: people sink huge bucks into their laptop and then they won't spend a few thousand for a decent bag. Surprising that warranty covers drops though.. unless there was completely no physical damage visible. On 5/3/07, Pablo Manalastas <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: ..
Such a laptop bag can be very expensive. I use a cheap laptop bag that is sufficiently padded front and back, but not at the edges. To provide additional padding, I use bubble wrap as shown in the pictures. I wrap the laptop using two layers of bubble wrap, before putting it in its bag. This is primitive but inexpensive "failsafe". A third-world solution? See http://360.yahoo.com/prmanalastas for the pictures referred to here.
