pdf2txt is just a shell wrapper around ps2ascii and friends. All Linux variants should have it.

I found many pdf2txt versions on the Internet, most of which seem to run under Windows. I finally found one (v1.0) which was a Unix shell script that calls ps2ascii. I tried it but it complained that the pdf file (Namfrel report #13) did not follow Adobe specs and the output looked like garbaga to me. Did I miss something?
